Our staff and activities coordinator Jane are always coming up with different activities for everyone to try.
Last week we enjoyed a pamper session where residents were offered pedicures, manicures and facials; this went down a treat with nearly all wanting a little spa treat.
We all look forward to our weekly visits from Max our therapet dog, we enjoy seeing Max’s cute face and get our cuddles. This relaxes everyone in the home and brings a smile to everyone’s face.
We don’t have to travel to go to the bowling; we just get our garden set out and off we go. Bowling is enjoyed and we really do get to see our competitive sides come out.
Dancing…now who doesn’t love to kick their shoes off and have a good boogie? Here we get to do it on a regular basis. This week we enjoyed our visit from John McLaughlin who got families up dancing together, making memories and generally having a great time.
Sightseeing – all who went on our Oomph! bus had a great trip around the countryside, Irene in particular thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and spoke about it for days after.
Last but not least, our lovely residents, staff and families all got to enjoy this glorious sunshine we have been getting, sitting in our lovely newly decorated garden enjoying the flowers, sunshine, ornaments and some ice cream.
