Staff and residents at Balhousie Alastrean care home have recreated the famous introduction from the sitcom Friends for a fun video.
The team used a sofa, floor lamp and umbrellas to recreate the popular outside scene that features at the start of each episode of the popular TV show. The stunning surroundings of Alastrean House – which is set in beautifully landscaped grounds in rural Aberdeenshire – made for the perfect backdrop. To add to the fun, residents clapped along to the theme song.
The video is the latest in Balhousie Care Group’s TikTok challenge which has seen teams from across the group of 26 care homes enter into dance challenges. Lori Fisher, Home Manager at Balhousie Alastrean in Tarland, said: “The staff were really keen to take part in the challenge – it’s a great way of keeping up spirits at what is a challenging time for everyone. And with plenty of Friends fans among staff and residents, this was an obvious choice for us. We’re really pleased with the result!”
