Like the lines from the well-loved Andrews Sisters song, Apple Blossom Time, a number of Balhousie residents have been celebrating significant wedding anniversaries.
Margaret from Balhousie Forth View, Fife, and her husband, Wallace, celebrated 40 years married by enjoying lunch together, a wee cheeky glass of red, and Wallace surprised Margaret with a fabulous bouquet.
Up in Perthshire, Beth and Ken celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at Balhousie Coupar Angus home yesterday, also celebrating with a lovely lunch together. They also got their congratulatory card from the Queen. Ken was quite emotional for all that was set up by the staff to make their day so special.
