Meet Hero our home Mascot. Hand knitted by our own Shiela Pirie, Balhousie Coupar Angus residents and care team came up with the name ‘Hero’ for our wee woolly lad as he represents all of our individual Everyday Hero’s working and living in our care home.
Hero is a well travelled lad and just loves to accompany team members and residents on days out and holidays. So far this year he has been to Turkey, attended a wedding in France, took part in the high wire trail at Gleneagles; had an entertaining evening in Braemar; joined in with Blairgowrie Highland Games; visited the youngsters at our local Cornerstone Nursery and last but not least walked the Maggies Penguin Parade in Dundee.
We can’t wait to see what other adventures Hero will join our residents and team on throughout the year.
