The Herald Magazine - 30th birthday spread

Did you catch The Herald last Friday?

If you did you’d have received a fabulous glossy, 40-page magazine, to celebrate 30 years of Balhousie: the covers are crammed with so many special Balhousie moments from across the years and from staff and residents throughout that time.

Stories include fantastic, heartwarming resident profiles, the birth of Balhousie from Chairman and founder, Tony Banks, with Balhousie Lisden in Kirriemuir paving the way, growth into Perth, then Dundee and onto, now, 26 homes across the North East Scotland. There’s the launch of the unique Participation Charter 2017, participation in the Oor Wullie bucket trail, right up to present day and the pandemic, with recognition for Balhousie’s Everyday Heroes, and pioneering work at the forefront vaccination and lateral flow testing. And so much more in there too.

The magazine went into all Friday Nov 26 Heralds and into into the hands of every reader, as well as Balhousie featuring across The Herald website for the day too.

Don’t worry if you’re getting overwhelmed with FOMO! All staff will receive their own magazine copy in the coming weeks and you can click the link below to read it now (just click on the page to turn it)!
