We took our residents from Balhousie Willowbank on our Oomph! bus to check out Boogie in Arbroath.  This is a tea dance event held every month where they play 60s, 70s and 80s music along with a great dance floor and some amazing food.

Una, Helen, Carol Ann, Irene, Ina and her daughter along with staff members Jane Paton (Activities Coordinator) and Elaine Vaughan (Administrator) went on the bus trip. We all enjoyed watching the scenery go by and talking about what we enjoy about Arbroath.  One thing stood out and that was the fish and chips.

We enjoyed talking to others within the community as well as having a dance and a bite to eat.  Overall we had a fantastic time having a few giggles along the way.

The afternoon allowed everyone to get out and about and talk to others outwith the home.  This function is a great way to reminisce to old songs and keeps everyone active having a dance on the dance floor.
