BCG are proudly sponsoring the Emerging Talent category at the Scottish Care Awards, taking place this Friday (15 November).
While BCG’s finalist in the Scottish Care Awards 2024, Jade Scott, takes her place in the Nurse of the Year category, she clearly illustrates and highlights the importance of the Emerging Talent award. Jade began her career as a carer some ten years ago with BCG, recently returning to their Wheatlands care home, in Bonnybridge, as a nurse, before becoming Clinical Deputy Manager.
Now in their 20th consecutive year, the awards are widely recognised as a benchmark of progress within the care sector, honouring the dedication and hard work of care providers and the individuals and teams within them, all over Scotland.
Speaking of the partnership, BCG Managing Director, Karen Johnson said:

“We also know, while care is a highly rewarding career, it can be difficult for some. When team members are committed, and caring is obviously a natural fit early on, it’s so important to recognise and reward this talent.
“Quite simply, our emerging talent is our future. Our finalist, Jade, clearly demonstrates this. A true, home-grown ambassador for the delight and benefit of nurturing emerging talent. When the opportunity arose to support this particular category, it was an easy decision for us, and a genuine pleasure to be involved in the Scottish Care Awards in this way.”
The Scottish Care Award winners will be announced at an awards ceremony hosted by Michelle McManus alongside Scottish Care CEO, Dr Donald Macaskill on the evening of Friday, 15 November 2024 at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.
