Residents from Balhousie St Ronan’s care home in Dundee received a special visit recently when members of the Carolina House Trust donated books to the home in honour of its 200th anniversary.

The Carolina House Trust, established in 1815 as the Royal Dundee Orphanage, is one of Scotland’s oldest children’s charities. St Ronan’s residents have strong connections to the Trust; many had friends or family members who worked at or lived in the home.

The hard-backed history book was published to celebrate the Trust’s 200th anniversary this year.
