Balhousie Lisden Care home in Kirriemuir is a stunning, classic former grand private house, set within beautiful private gardens. The home has been elegantly updated in order to provide our residents with a spacious, relaxing and comfortable environment in which they feel safe, secure and most importantly, at home. We offer a full range of caring support including residential, nursing, convalescent, post-operative, respite and palliative care and also specialise in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. A purpose-built specialist Dementia care centre is a recent addition to the main house and enables us to tailor treatment more specifically for our residents with these needs. Our team is fully trained to meet the specific care needs of each resident and this is at the forefront of all that we do. To arrange a visit or to find out more about the care we provide, please call 01575 574499.

About Care

The Care Inspectorate is an independent body which provides information about care services in Scotland. At Balhousie Care Group, we believe in transparency, that’s why we share our care gradings with you.

How well do we support people's wellbeing?

How well is our care and support planned?

Please pass on our grateful thanks to all the staff who worked so hard to make Valentine’s Day lunch so special.
The reason it was so successful was it was so normal. It was just like being in a restaurant with our partners and a few friends having a meal. We all chatted together and learned things about each other that increased our care and compassion for each other.
For a short time, the care home faded and the experience took us on an ordinary day out.

Many thanks
