We had a little visitor called Emily come to the home for a visit. Emily is the grand-daughter of our Senior Carer Joan. Emily was very happy to sit with residents talking to them and doing some art with Irene and Sue, who loved every minute of her company.
Our activities coordinator managed to get a little singalong from Eddie, who enjoyed whipping up a tune on the home’s keyboard, with residents joining in with a sing-song. And May and our Cook Moira had a great time bringing along the snacks and goodies for everyone to enjoy.
We feel it’s very important to encourage friendships throughout the home with staff, residents and visitors. It brings a nice and happy environment for everyone at Willowbank. Emily enjoyed her time and everyone loved to see her. We hope to see her visit again soon.
