Festive Highlights from Antiquary

As we say a fond farewell to 2018 we take a peek at some of the highlights from our December festivities at Antiquary.

With so many festive events, both in and out-with the home, there was something for everyone to enjoy. From trips to see Aladdin at the local theatre to a hugely successful Christmas Fayre fundraiser, a Quiz Night followed by festive entertainment from The Military Wives Choir, a visit from Olaf, Christmas Party fun, trips to see the beautiful Christmas displays at Silverwells, Christmas shopping at Dobbies and B&Q, a ‘Let it Snow’ Christmas show, and a Sunday Song Service to round it all off, residents enjoyed a very busy, glitter-filled, entertaining Festive Season.

Many thanks are extended to everyone who contributed to our wonderful Christmas Fayre, raising a fantastic total of over £900 for our residents comfort fund. Also many thanks go to Steve McFarlane, for very kindly providing transport and assistance for both our Christmas Fayre and residents Christmas outings, and  also thanks and appreciation to Susan and Brian Hamill, for a lovely end-of-year carol song service.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at Antiquary home.
