Gig on a Truck – the traveling music gig that’s entertaining across Perthshire – arrived at Balhousie Luncarty care home this week, to the delight of residents and staff.

Musicians Chris Small and Michael Mcnab performed a medley of hit songs on their special mini stage set up in the home’s beautiful gardens.

Run by Horsecross Arts, which operates Perth Theatre and Concert Hall, Gig on a Truck began last year during the Coronavirus Crisis, when lockdown restrictions put paid to live entertainment.

Cheryl Banks, Home Manager at Balhousie Luncarty, said: “It’s always amazing to have live entertainment for residents, but it’s extra special having it in our gardens. Huge thanks to Horsecross Arts, Chris and Michael for this wonderful community event.”
