Who needs Mary Berry when you have a panel of residents who love cake! The staff at Balhousie Glens have been busy baking for the home’s very own Bake Off competition, all to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. Channelling the Great British Bake Off contestants, our Everyday Heroes baked some beautiful cakes for the home’s very own resident-led judging panel. The residents loved sampling the various bakes and giving their feedback. The winning cake, a delicious vanilla sponge, won the day. Congratulations to winner, Ailsa Mowbray-Smith who won a lovely personalised apron. The Glens Bake Off raised £135 for Stand Up To Cancer – well done, Team Glens!
