It was all smiles at Balhousie Willowbank care home this week as residents checked in with their loved ones on our new tablet devices.

Since restricting visits because of the nationwide Coronavirus outbreak, each of our homes has been using two brand new iPads so that residents and relatives can video-call.

Says Jan Robertson, Home Manager at Willowbank in Carnoustie: “This has been a great way for families and residents to stay connected and always brings a smile to their faces. It shows that during this difficult it’s important for families to have the ability to see their loved ones day or night.”

And of course there are other ways of ‘visiting’ right now. Resident Eleanora Greig was able to wave through the window to her daughter Jennifer.
