Oh no it isn’t! Ok so it was a production of A Christmas Carol rather than panto, but residents at Balhousie Brookfield had a whale of a time on their theatre trip out to Dundee Rep to see this year’s Christmas show of the Charles Dickens Christmas Classic, with a twist.
The rep’s version is a brand new musical interpretation of the ultimate Christmas story, with a cast of 11 actor-musicians bringing it to life for al the well-known characters: Tiny Tim and Jacob Marley to the Ghost of Christmas Past.
And to make sure they were all in full Christmas spirit, the Carnoustie care home have been indulging in festive mulled wine and mince pies. Well, it would be rude not too!
