ANCILLARY (Domestic/Laundry etc.)
Role – To work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Care Home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times. Displaying empathy and positivity when communicating with residents as part of the day to day role
Requirements – Experience of carrying out a similar role (desirable) / Experience of working in a care/support setting (desirable)
Role – To assist in the provision of care and work as part of a team to achieve required standards. To ensure Residents retain their dignity and individuality. To be involved in the general activities of the Care Home / Unit
Requirements: Whilst relevant knowledge and experience is welcomed, we provide extensive support and training, meaning that so long as you have the correct attitude and mentality for the position – we can do the rest! We can teach you most things, but we cannot teach you kindness or compassion, and so these are the essential requirements for this role.
HOSPITALITY (family friendly hours with no split shifts or backshifts)
*Chef – To organise and control the efficient and economic production of quality food within the allowed budget, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with EHO regulations.
Requirements: City & Guilds 706 – 1 & 2, or equivalent (achieved or working towards) / Basic Food Hygiene Certificate / Experience of food preparation for the relevant Resident group (desirable)
*Kitchen Assistant – To assist in organising and controlling the efficient and economic production of quality food within the allowed budget, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements: Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable) / Experience of food preparation for the relevant Resident group (desirable)
Role – To oversee / maintain the care of Residents within a designated area of the Home and, in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager, take responsibility for providing a level of support toward the day to day running of the Home. To delegate tasks and monitor all staff members’ activity.
Requirements: Valid NMC pin / Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
