Joining in a dementia program at St Andrews Church

On Wednesday the 5^th of June, Alzheimer’s Scotland ran a dementia program through St Andrews church, where our residents John and Bob took part in the pitch and putt. They didn’t win but they loved taking part and feeling involved.

There was also flower arranging, with Helen F, Iris, Gordon and Helen D all joining in to make their own flower displays. They loved making their own designs and picking the flowers they liked and seeing all the different colors come together.

Iris and Helen D also got a hand massage by one of the volunteers. They got to pick which fragrance they wanted to have. They both enjoyed being able to relax and have a chat.
