Message to relatives regarding the re-opening of our care homes

The news we’ve all been waiting for

We’re delighted to be opening our doors again to visitors! We know it’s been a long three months for you and your loved ones. As you can appreciate, with the threat of COVID-19 still very real, it is vital that the re-openings take place in the safest and most practical way possible. For us, that means maintaining the strictest infection prevention and control measures. Here’s what you can expect:

* The first visits to be held in our gardens, with one designated visitor per resident;
* A phased opening of our homes;
* Temperature checks, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for visitors and strict rules on bringing in gifts;
* Online bookings through our website.

Communication has been issued to all relatives with details of the above, links to the booking website and tips for what to expect after some time away from your loved one. If you have any questions in the meantime, please talk to your Home Manager.

Lastly, many thanks for your patience! We’re very much looking forward to seeing you again.
