With Christmas fast approaching, team Monkbarns have been getting into the festive spirit with preparations for the homes up coming Christmas Fayre.
Residents have been thoroughly enjoying getting stuck in with the preparations, helping to create fabulous items to sell on the Arts and Crafts stall. Some of the items residents have been making include coasters, reindeer food packages and yummy hot chocolate gift bags, to name just a few.
One resident in particular has taken the arts and crafts themed participation and really made it his own, creating hand crafted festive ornaments with wooden clothes pegs.
The whole team are looking forward to welcoming Santa to their home on the day of their Christmas Fare and can’t wait to show off their handiwork.
Our Christmas Fare will be held on Sunday 9th of December, 2pm at Monkbarns care home and we would like to extend an open invitation to you all.
