Rodger and Eddie who were keen golfers before coming to Willowbank missed being able to walk down to the golf course; so here at Willowbank we thought it would be great for them if we could create a golfing area just outside the home so they can still be able to play their favourite game.
Jane our activities Co-ordinator got in contact with greenkeepers and managed to get holes put into the ground and some flags were donated. Jane said that “both Rodger and Eddie thoroughly enjoy their time outside putting and have even said how much they look forward to it”.
This is a great activity for others aswell as seats are available to watch so everyone can enjoy some fresh air and exercise.
