Kings and Queens of Karaoke!
On the afternoon of Friday the 22nd of February, Carol and Graham came into Monkbarns and put on Karaoke for us in the café. Pat and Gordon loved the afternoon singing some of their favourite songs, granny Olly especially said that she “thoroughly enjoyed her afternoon”. We also had a special guest, Bella, she came in on her day off school to sing a few songs for us as well.
The residents had a lovely relaxed afternoon dancing, and having a drink of their choice from our bar. Gordon had a great time of it, dancing with Tracy, one of the domestics, and Ian loved dancing in his wheelchair with his wife Agnes.
Ella, Joan and Menary also had a great time dancing with Shirley. Menary is an avid dancer and wowed the crowd with her enthusiastic leg work.
