A group of carers from Balhousie Coupar Angus care home have participated in a Meaningful Day workshop. The workshop looks at how to bring meaning to peoples’ everyday life, from ideas for meaningful activities for residents to participate in to learning how small things can go a long way.

The workshop was run by Dementia Services Facilitator, Cheryl Banks. Cheryl said: “It was lovely to work with Rachel, David and Anja from the Abbey Unit at our Coupar Angus home and see them so happy and excited with what they learned during the workshop. It will be great to see how they use what they learned in their day-to-day interactions with the residents.”
