On Friday the 21st of December Monkbarns had their Christmas party. Carol and Graham kept everyone entertained with karaoke, giving all the residents the chance to have a sing song if they wanted to. Ruth was especially glad to see Carol and have a go on the karaoke as Ruth taught Carol how to sing when she was a child. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with lots of fun and laughter. We opened up the bar, had nibbles along with lots of dancing. All of the residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves, especially when the time came to decide the best Christmas outfit which resulted in a dance off between two staff members. The afternoon was topped off by a visit from Santa with each resident receiving a small gift.
