The conservatory was purple-ized, the staff and residents donned their purple garments for a fun filled “purple” party to celebrate Dementia Awareness Week with purple iced cakes, purple sweets, quiche and sausage rolls. It was such a warm sunny day we took the party outside with wine and punch and the residents and family members had a fantastic afternoon. Our “Purple” Competition entry was also on display for the family and residents to admire as those who contributed to it are extremely pleased and proud of the finished piece.
