A Christmas, local Carnoustie Scout Liam chose to give his Christmas Cards out to residents that live in Willowbank Care Home. He’s visited a few times and gets along with all the residents and understands that some don’t have much family or their relatives live far away. Everyone enjoyed seeing Liam – especially Mary Watson, Carol Ann Gadd and Doug Walker who had tears of joy in their eyes and thought it was a lovely gesture. Liam’s cards now sit with pride in their rooms.
Well done Liam, you are a very kind young boy and we loved having you visit. Such a small gesture that made such a big impact and we’re sure the residents’ loved ones would agree.
