Walter a senior carer at Monkbarns turns into Teddy boy Watty as the residents joined in and had a joyous time dancing and singing along with Walter. Thelma who is transported about in a wheelchair even joined in as Menary and Joan decided to try and help her up to dance under the watchful eye of activity coordinator Shirley. We had lots of visitors joining in from kids in prams to dogs on knees, this event went down exceedingly well and are looking forward to what Walter is going to do next. Helen especially enjoyed herself as her daughter in law encouraged her to dance and let her hair down, Helen expressed how much she enjoyed it, as she normally doesn’t participate but was glad that Sandra encouraged her. So well done Walter and thank you from everyone.
