Halloween treats at Balhousie

Ghoulish craftyness is filling the homes as we head towards All Hallows Eve.

Activities Coordinator at Balhousie Brookfield care home in Carnoustie, sharon Thomson declares it to be her favourite time of year, getting busy with a schedule of  lots of baking and arts and crafts in store for lots of spooky activities.

Resident’s have been up to tricks making monster slime cakes, and having a wicked time, painting knuckles with bright orange paint to print their own inventive pumpkin canvas.

Balhousie Huntly, Willowbank in Carnoustie, and Clement Park in Dundee are also on the trick-or-treat trail, creating their own dastardly decorations. But, Ian and Ivor, at Balhousie Lisden, are finding it all a bit of a hoot. (Hoot – get it!)
