The Hairy Highland Coo Trail has taken Perth and Kinross by storm this summer. Our residents from North Inch care home in Perth just had to see it.

There are 30 ‘Coos’ on the trail and the North Inch gang made a sizeable dent in one afternoon on the trishaws. These are just a few that they found while they were out and about, below.

Each sculpture has been uniquely designed and painted by a different artist. They have been placed in streets and public spaces around the region for the public to find until September 6. A Hairy Highland Coo Trail app can be downloaded to help navigate the trail.

One of BCG’s specialist care workers from Dundee unveiled his latest art as part of a trail of 30 ‘Hairy Highland Coos’, so that was an important stop for our Perth residents, right in the centre of the city, by St John’s Kirk.

Craig Cairnie is a Senior Support Worker with our specialist care group ASC in Balbeggie, and was enlisted to paint one of the sculptures. His Tartan Army Coo is in dedication to the Scottish fans attending the UEFA European Championships in Germany.

Don’t miss your chance to check them all out!
