Perth residents take up the Captain Tom Challenge

Balhousie North Grove is just one of our care homes taking part in The Captain Tom Exercise Challenge.

The Challenge, organised by schoolgirl Heather (pictured), invited 100 care homes worldwide to take part in armchair exercises this Friday, June 11. Heather, who smashed her target a week early, will host the live exercise session at 4pm on Friday.

Our North Grove home in Perth has been raising sponsorship funds for their effort, which will go directly to its Residents’ Comfort Fund.

Said Activities Coordinator Peter Hargreaves: “As we come out of lockdown and with the summer now being with us, we will hopefully be hiring minibuses to go on visits and invite new entertainment and activities into North Grove.”
