26 pupils from Morrisons Academy in Crieff joined us for the morning and were eager to get going with our “Pimp my Zimmer” competition! Laughter could be heard throughout the home but some serious concentration faces were on too! They started off by giving us some beautifully sung songs which the residents sang along to, then it was competition time. The pupils worked in teams with a resident in each team to create a bright personalised masterpiece with each zimmer, the brighter the better, with ribbon and diamonds! Our area manager Yvonne had the tough decision of picking a winner to win a bag full of goodies from the residents but the biggest prize was the smiles and laughter between all involved. The intergenerational relationship really is something to admire and we all can’t wait for the next project. Thank you again from all of us in Dalnaglar to Morrisons Academy!
