Residents at Clement Park care home opened the doors of their newly refurbished ‘Clement Clubby’ this month.

The ‘Clubby’ was borne from an unused room which has now been transformed into a welcoming bar area, fully equipped with optics providing residents with their tipple of choice.  With the addition of some new tables and chairs and even a new smart TV to enable residents to tune into their favourite shows, or catch the latest football match, it really is the perfect space to kick back.  If music is your thing, then the club boasts a fantastic new retro style jukebox to cater for a variety of tastes and even a karaoke machine if residents fancy a sing song.

The Clement Clubby has been designed to be adaptable to residents needs and desires, so if it’s a little peace and quiet that’s requested then of course that wish can be granted.  Residents can relax and enjoy the space, look through a book, read the paper or sit down with friends and enjoy a chat or a game of dominoes.

A particularly special celebration has already been held in the new clubby, as it was residents Robert’s 71st Birthday just after the opening of the club.  Along with friends and well-wishers, Robert spent the afternoon partying along to music and making full use of the clubby’s facilities.
