Residents at Huntly have been lucky enough to get their hair done weekly despite the Covid-19 lockdown. Domestic Assistant Karen Slater, who has hairdressing qualifications, has been spending her Tuesdays in the salon over the past three months to pamper our lovely residents.
Residents have enjoyed shampoo & sets, wash & blow drys and haircuts – which has really boosted many of our residents and kept them looking and feeling fabulous.
Many friends and relatives of our residents have sent in messages of their appreciation and some have even said the residents are the ‘Luckiest people in Huntly’.
This week Karen’s hairdressing was recognised when she was given a Balhousie Everyday Hero recognition – well done Karen!
