Residents and staff across Balhousie Care Group have been picking up their knitting needles for a knitting initiative from classic magazine The People’s Friend. The Dundee-based magazine’s ‘Close Knit Friends’ campaign, which aims to bring people together through knitting, is asking readers to knit bunting to help decorate a ‘Yarn Bombed Bus’ which will be touring the UK and visiting Dundee later this month.

Coupar Angus resident Kathy MacIntosh has had her knitting needles out to contribute some lovely multi-coloured bunting. Also, two Everyday Heroes at Head Office, Pauline Northcott and Julie Boydell, have been busy producing approximately 20 knitted triangles for the bus. What a brilliant effort!
