The sun was shining on Saturday 25th August for our annual summer fete here at Lisden. It was an eventful afternoon, kicking off with a BBQ where the burgers were thoroughly enjoyed. This was followed by residents and visitors browsing our table stalls and having a go with the lucky dip on the tombola. We all went on to enjoy the sunny afternoon, sitting out in the beautiful gardens, having a blather with friends old and new, whilst watch the kids tire themselves out on the bouncy castle entertaining us all with their antics. Resident Harold Lindsay commented “the day was fantastic, it’s great to see everyone enjoying themselves”.
As an added bonus to the day, a total of £200 was raised for Lisden residents comfort fund. Special thanks to all our team, staff, residents, relatives and members of the local community for all their support.
