The Easter Bunny chose a unique mode of travel to our Balhousie Wheatlands care home in Bonnybridge at the weekend… arriving by trishaw!

Thanks to Cycling Without Age Scotland’s Denny branch, our residents and staff had a very special visit on Easter Sunday. The volunteer-run organisation, a sub group of Cycling Without Age Scotland, takes people of any age who have mobility restrictions out for free rides on specially designed cycle rickshaws.

Just to make the day extra special,  Bonnybridge food bank charity Roots dropped off some donations of plants and garden items to Wheatlands, which is focusing on its garden as part of a company-wide competition across Balhousie Care Group called Balhousie in Bloom.

Thanks to both Cycling Without Age Scotland and Roots – you really made our Easter!
