Our residents at Balhousie The Glens care home in Edzell have been channelling their inner Alan Titchmarsh as they get busy with Spring planting.
The recent sunny weather saw residents headed for the home’s lovely gardens and getting green-fingered, as well as taking part in some indoor planting.
There’s another reason for them to smile though: the launch of a gardening competition that’s running across Balhousie Care Group’s 26 care facilities.
Balhousie in Bloom is a chance for our home to show off their stunning gardens and created some buzz in their local communities. There is a prize of £500 for the grand winner, which will go towards the winning home’s residents’ comfort fund.
