Three of our war heroes were delighted to receive a visit from fellow veterans – and a free Christmas tree!
Jock McGurk, Bill Grigg and Ian Bertie, residents of Balhousie Monkbarns care home in Arbroath, received the tree from local WW2 veterans group 45 Royal Marines Commando, which is keen to get involved with the home.
“All three served for our country and we are looking to build that relationship with 45 RM Commando further,” said Deputy Manager Louise Clancy.
Watch this space for more veteran news and events – and until then, Happy Christmas from Monkbarns!
