Pitlochry care home residents bid a fond farewell to the children of Pitlochry High School Nursery last week as the children take their summer break and many get ready to move up to Primary School.

The children have been paying fortnightly visits since Easter, to play games and with Playdoh, with the residents. The intergenerational benefits of their visits can’t be overstated.

One of the children is Fionn, an aspiring piper at just 4-years-old. He arrived in his piping finery and played a tune for his last visit. What a wee legend!
