This weekend, our Dundee homes were delighted to welcome a colourful ‘Yarn Bombed Bus’ covered in beautiful knitting, some of which was created by our own staff and residents.
The bus, which is touring the UK as part of classic magazine The People’s Friend’s Close Knit Campaign which aims to bring people together through knitting, visited Clement Park, St Ronans and Moyness to drop copies of the magazine for residents to enjoy.
Residents and staff across Balhousie Care Group picked up their knitting needles for the knitting initiative.
Coupar Angus resident Kathy MacIntosh contributed some lovely multi-coloured bunting. Also, two Everyday Heroes at Head Office, Pauline Northcott and Julie Boydell, produced approximately 20 knitted triangles for the bus.
