Our team at ASC and their service users had the most incredible day last Thursday where they went ‘down the rabbit hole’ for an Alice in Wonderland tea party.

The party was the final event in a month-long series of fundraisers to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

Everyone threw themselves into the theme with some spectacular costumes. Support Worker, Kirsti Bonthrone dressed up as Alice and guided everyone to the party which everyone paid £2 to attend as part of the fundraising drive.

Staff prepared the food and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon tea together on the front lawn where the sun shined brightly.

Following the food and drink was an Alice in Wonderland quiz, a raffle and lots of laughter. Special mention has to go to Gerry, one of our service users from the Bungalows, who made his costume from scratch. He’s an expert when it comes to sewing and looked brilliant in his handmade costume.
