ASC’s service-user-led social enterprise, the LOTUS Project made a visit to Head Office with a pop-up shop to sell some of their bespoke creations.
All made on site at ASC in Balbeggie, a group of service users came along and had a great time selling a variety of items, from upcycled bottles with Christmas lights to ornate wooden bowls created in ASC’s popular woodwork shed.
Everyone at Head Office took the opportunity to have a browse and do a spot of Christmas shopping.
The LOTUS Project, which stands for Love Our Talents Unique Special, was formed to support individuals to achieve their goals and their visit to head office offered a great opportunity to embrace the project’s aims. Organised by ASC’s Activities Coordinator, Anne Foulds, the pop-up shop made an incredible £310! Anne said:
“This will help the social enterprise and onsite workshop to make bigger and better bespoke items. Head Office were fabulous hosts and we all had a ball.”
The team are hosting a LOTUS pop-up shop from 9.30-11.30am on Fridays in the Campsie Kitchen at ASC for anyone who would like to pick up some purchases.
