After the Angus area was badly affected by Storm Babet last month, our home in Edzell, The Glens, decided to hold a Bake Sale and Coffee Morning to raise funds for the Brechin Flood Appeal. This was especially close to the hearts of the staff as two members of the team had to be evacuated from their homes during the storm.
The coffee morning took place on Saturday 18th November in Edzell Parish Church and our Interim Home Manager, Emma Shand was overwhelmed by the number of people from the local community who came along to show their support. The residents also had a great time sampling the delicious cakes and treats on sale!
An incredible £670 was raised for the Appeal – well done everyone at The Glens!
