Balhousie Care Group’s teams shine in Christmas video

As Christmas draws near, the staff and residents at Balhousie Care have been warming up their vocal chords and fully embracing the festive spirit to star in a special video to celebrate the upcoming holidays.

The Balhousie 2023 Christmas e-card includes an array of staff, from carers to IT managers, and lots of joyful residents all performing the Christmas classic, Winter Wonderland.

Less about perfect singing and more about having fun and wishing people a very happy holiday season, the video is full of fun and laughter throughout.

Wonderfully, there’s even a resident, Christine Sturgeon at Balhousie Rumbling Bridge, playing a rendition of the song on the home’s piano.

The e-card also features intergenerational partnerships including an ongoing friendship between Balhousie North Inch and nearby Apple Tree Nursery in Perth where the children can be seen joining in with the residents to sing.

The team behind the video are hoping the video will bring lots of smiles. Karen Johnson, Managing Director at Balhousie Care Group., said:

“Across our 25 care homes, we have the most incredible staff and residents. Our Christmas e-card was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate just how much joy, laughter and fun so many of our staff and residents have in our care homes every day. It’s not always easy what we do, but our staff have such amazing team spirit – and this video really celebrates that.”

Balhousie will continue to spread their cheerful Christmas message on social media over the festive season.
