Balhousie Care recognised for training and staff development at Scottish Care Awards

One of Scotland’s leading providers of residential, nursing and specialist care has been recognised for its training and staff development at a prestigious awards ceremony.

Kyle Manns, Regional Learning and Development Facilitator at Balhousie Care Group, beat off tough competition to take the award for Training, Learning and Staff Development at the Scottish Care National Care Awards 2023 at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow last Friday evening.

Kyle has made a significant impact since joining Balhousie in early 2023, re-energising the company’s training procedures, introducing various new methods and modules for learning. His welcoming and interactive approach has proved very popular and has been well received by his colleagues. Kyle is extremely proud to have been recognised by Scottish Care. He said:

“I am humbled and honoured to have won this award for the work I do. Thank you. For me, this recognition is about every single member of our team making a difference for our residents.”

The glittering awards ceremony, which celebrates the very best individuals and teams working across the care sector in Scotland, was hosted by Pop Idol winner, Michelle McManus, and Scottish Care CEO Dr Donald Macaskill.

As well as Kyle’s triumph, Balhousie Care had three other finalists who were celebrated at the awards.
