Move over Radio 1 – Dundee’s REAL big weekend was at Balhousie Clement Park!
As the BBC hit music station’s flagship event arrived in the City of Discovery, along with the likes of Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi, the residents of Clement Park got in the mood with a celebration of their own.
Stacey Cook, a Care Assistant at the home, organised some activities for the residents themed around the festival.
Of course, there was plenty of music and dancing, while some of the ladies in the Cox Unit even donned glittery face decorations and sunflower shades.
Stacey said: “It’s not every day an event like Big Weekend happens in Dundee, so it was great for our residents to be able to take part in some fun activities to mark the occasion.
“Everyone had a fantastic time singing and dancing to some of their favourite tunes, and really got into the summer spirit.
“We’re looking forward to many more fantastic weekends this summer.”
