Burns Night

This week, there were celebrations to mark the birth of Robert Burns right across our care homes at BCG.

Lots of haggis was eaten, bagpipes were heard, live music including a ceilidh band was danced to and lots of poetry was recited. One home even had a highland dancer!

There was so much fun being had that we have pulled together a gallery of photos from several of our homes including Clement Park, Antiquary, Coupar Angus, Dalnaglar, Monkbarns, Willowbank and Rumbling Bridge.

Look out for Clement Park Home Manager Cheryl Roy reciting some Burns and Lauren Nicol, Activities Coordinator at Coupar Angus who performed a Highland Dance for the residents. Lauren used to compete in competitions when she was younger, so was delighted to revisit her dancing days for a performance.

Also, special mention to Gordon Allan from Antiquary and Liz McKay from Coupar Angus, who you can  see here addressing the haggis. And finally, Dave, the son-in-law of one of the residents at Monkbarns who also addressed the haggis for everyone!
