Hundreds of staff across Balhousie Care Group are being recognised in a series of Long Service Awards taking place across our homes.
The 343 dedicated staff members, who together have accrued an impressive 2,715 of service, each receive a keepsake pen in a presentation box along with a letter from Balhousie Care Group Chairman Tony Banks.
Staff with anywhere from 5 to the full 30 years’ service are being recognised in a tribute that ties in with Balhousie’s 30th birthday anniversary.
Staff at Balhousie Wheatlands in Bonnybridge (pictured above) totted up the most years among them – an impressive 375!
Balhousie St Ronan’s home in Dundee is the facility with the most long service staff, numbering 43 and 260 years in total.
In his letter to staff, Tony acknowledges their dedication, saying: “Your loyalty to Balhousie is all the more valued following two of the most challenging years we have ever faced together. We are proud to have you on our team and thank you for everything you do for our residents and colleagues.”
