The residents of Willowbank had the time of their lives thanks to a recent visit from Cycling Without Age.
The charity, which works with a number of Balhousie homes, paid a visit to Carnoustie to take some of the residents for a spin.
With the help of the volunteers, they took in some of the local sights – and even found time to stop for an ice cream!
Mandy Grant, Activities Coordinator, said: “We had such a fantastic day. The ladies said they felt like the Queen waving and talking to everyone!
“We’ve been out several times now and we have more slots booked. It’s proving very popular, and the residents’ families are enjoying coming along too.”
Piloted by volunteers, CWA organises trips on specially-designed trishaws, which can carry two passengers on seats on the front.
It means those who struggle with mobility issues are able to enjoy the outdoors safely, which in turn boosts their physical and mental wellbeing.
