Staff at Balhousie Coupar Angus received a beautiful gift from the family of a resident who recently passed away.

The family of Adrian ‘Ned’ Kelly wanted to find a way to thank staff for the care he received in his final months in the Perthshire home.

Ned’s daughter Rhonda, son-in-law Ronnie and grand-daughters Layla and Jodi created a personalised and framed scrabble picture featuring words summing up their experience of the care home and its staff.

Using tiles from the popular board game, the family spelled out words they felt described staff at Coupar Angus – including compassionate, kind, devoted, dedicated and caring.

“Thank you for the care and compassion you all gave to my dad during the time he was with you,” said Rhonda. “I get comfort from knowing that he was settled, content and looked after by caring, devoted people who made his last few months easier for him.”
