A picture of residents at Balhousie Dalnaglar enjoying Pancake Day.

Balhousie Care staff pulled out all the stops to make Pancake Day a special one for residents.

Across the group’s 26 homes, staff put their culinary skills to the test as they cooked up some delicious treats.

From traditional drop scones to French crepes, they proved they can cut it in the kitchen as well as out on the floor of the homes thinking up fun games and activities for the residents.

At Huntly, Activities Coordinator Katie Hopewell came equipped with a portable cooker, managing to successfully toss at least one pancake in each of the home’s units.

Mima Hird, Activities Coordinator at North Inch, made a batch of pancakes with help from some of the residents.

Meanwhile, at Dalnaglar, Julie Davis served up a whole range of delicious toppings for the residents to try.

Everyone enjoyed taking part – but we think they enjoyed tasting the results even more!
